Keith Stanfield aka “Darius” from Atlanta channeled 2009 Kanye West and interrupted Silicon Valley‘s acceptance speech at the Critics Choice Awards this weekend.

Atlanta was one of the most critically-acclaimed and most-watched TV sitcoms this year. So getting nominated for Best Comedy Series at the 2016 Critics Choice Awards was a no-brainer. However, the rookie show was up against hits like Black-ish, VEEP, Fleabag, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Modern Family. Although many thought the show could and would win, that wasn’t the case as Silicon Valley took home the prize for the second year straight.

Sensing the jig immediately, Stanfield got up and walked to the stage, beating the cast members to the microphone. In fact, if you watch the video closely, you can see that he gets up and starts making his way up there right after the award was announced as if he belonged up there.

Once he got to the microphone, Stanfield provided the night’s most awkward moment, saying, “I want to thank everybody for honoring us in this way. We worked very hard on Silicon Valley. And here we are. Thank you.”

Then he walked off.
