The physical copy version of Frank Ocean‘s Blonde album shows that he had some help from some high-profile musicians.
People still actually buy CDs in 2016. A Reddit user revealed the liner notes of Ocean‘s album after they went out and bought it. While there was much speculation about who did what off the album, most people couldn’t only go off of what their trusted ears told them. There were published articles of some of the contributions, but not all. Now, there is actual printed proof of who contributed and how much they brought to the table. The names that stick out most are Kanye West and Beyonce.
West is listed as a co-writer on “White Ferrari” while Beyoncé is credited as a backup singer on “Pink + White.” Frank has Bey singing back up? That’s large. Pharell Williams ad Jon Brion are also listed as contributors that track as well.
