Let the “Jay Pharoah is better than most rappers” talk begin.
The former Saturday Night Live comedian stopped by DJ Whoo Kid’s Whoolywood Shuffle show on Shade 45 to do his trademark Jay Z impersonation among other things. But he also pulled some new tricks out of his bag by actually freestyling like Jay as well as Eminem.
While it’s one thing to impersonate a rapper, it’s a totally different feat to be able to actually rap and freestyle like they would. Pharoah deserves some props for that. In addition, Pharoah actually spit some bars of his own and he wasn’t bad at all. Maybe we can get a battle between him and Shia LaBeouf popping next year?
