Lil Wayne music was scarce in 2016, but he’s looking to make up for that this year.

With his Carter V album in purgatory and his lawsuit against Cash Money Records still on, Lil Wayne hasn’t been releasing music at the rate we all grew accustomed to. Outside of his prison memoir Gone Til’ November, the Louisiana rapper didn’t even release a project in 2016. But according to a post on his Facebook page, Weezy is going into overdrive and possibly dropping three projects.

The caption “CV. Funeral. D6” alludes to his long-awaited Carter V album, his Funeral mixtape and the sixth installment of the Dedication mixtape series with DJ Drama.

Carter V made headlines at the end of the year when it was reported that millionaire troll Martin Shkreli bought the unreleased album from an unknown source. Weezy announced the Funeral project in November and DJ Drama confirmed a sixth Dedication in April.

The three pending projects should be welcomed with open arms. Wayne seemed to return to his roots in 2015 with the Free Weezy Album and Sorry 4 The Wait projects. If he’s able to pick up where he left off, all should be well.
