Martin Shkreli is back in the headlines once again but this time, the so-called “Pharma Bro” didn’t make the news feed for hoarding unreleased Hip-Hop music. Shkreli, an active Twitter user, had his account suspended for stalking a writer and editor of Teen Vouge and harassing her publicly.
Shkreli’s weird obsession with Lauren Duca began late last week after he attempted to direct message the married Duca and ask her to be his date to the upcoming inauguration of Donald Trump. Duca screen-capped the message and added the caption, “I would rather eat my own organs.”
That didn’t stop Shkreli from being an oddball stalker and he kept his relentless online assault by posting a photo mashup featuring himself and Duca in a cozy position. Duca was outraged at Shkreli’s boldness and demanded answers as to how the beleaguered former hedge fund manager was able to freely harass her.
Well, Twitter heard her calls and Shkreli’s account was promptly suspended. Of course, Shkreli being the huge dick that he is will only use this to promote some mystery rap album or egg on some quasi-beef he’s created to keep himself in the public eye. What a dweeb.
