Derrick Rose was AWOL from tonight’s Knicks game verse the New Orleans Pelicans. While initially his whereabouts were unknown, and still are, Joakim Noah says he’s “okay.”

An as yet unconfirmed rumors says Rose had a “major blowout” with the Knicks head coach.

Lately, Rose has been sitting in the 4th quarters in favor of rookie guard Ron Baker.

According to USA Today, Joakim Noah, who was also teammates with Rose on the Chicago Bulls, spoke to the former league MVP after tonight’s home game, and he’s fine.

The Knicks and Coach Jeff Hornacek were tight-lipped after the game, which the Knicks lost 110-96, with Carmelo Anthony getting ejected from the game after picking up a pair of technical fouls.

“Right now we don’t have enough information to give you anything,” said Hornacek.

Despite the drama, Rose has been the most consistent Knicks point guard in years, with season averages of 17.3 points and 4.5 assists per game.

We can’t wait until the explanation, from both sides.
