Shia LaBeouf has created a four-year-long protest art project aimed at slamming the presidency of Donald Trump. During President Trump’s first term, the “He Will Not Divide Us” project will air video of celebrities and citizens uttering the phrase into a camera in a live feed.

The Telegraph reports:

The pair set up the new art project, titled He Will Not Divide Us, to coincide with the event as celebrities including Rihanna and Stephen Fry hit out at Barack Obama’s replacement.

Broadcast from a camera mounted outside the Museum Of The Moving Image in New York, the live stream invites members of the public to deliver the phrase, “he will not divide us” and will run for the duration of Mr Trump’s first term.

It is the latest in a series of art projects from LeBeouf, who stars in the Transformers film franchise and recent hit American Honey. In December, he launched a 24-hour phone-line where his fans could ring the actor for a chat.

The project’s page lists its aims as follows:”Commencing at 9am on January 20, 2017, the day of the inauguration of the 45th President of the United States, the public is invited to deliver the words “HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US” into a camera mounted on a wall outside the Museum of the Moving Image, New York, repeating the phrase as many times, and for as long as they wish.”

Jaden Smith has visited the site of the project and currently, LaBeouf has been active on the camera feed this morning as well.
