Charles Hamilton is back from his stay in a mental hospital.
As previously reported, the emcee was admitted to New York Presbyterian Mental Hospital for “piece of mind” after a series of events including an infamous on-camera slap by a reported old flame drove him to his breaking point.
Although many have questioned his mental status, the emcee has since left the institution and recently appeared in a wheel chair with pink wheels leaving many to wonder about his physical well being as well.
Hamilton visited the offices of XXL Wednesday in his pink detailed wheel chair and explained to the staff that he was in the mobility device for pain.
“The reason I’m in a wheelchair is because I have sharp pains since I was in the hospital and a lil bit before…I have sharp pains when I’m walking and literally I want to collapse but I can’t I have to continue to walk. So my right leg has been acting kinda funny. I still have a lil’ mobility, I can still stand up in the booth…but I’d rather the mobility of my legs be jeopardized than my musicality be jeopardized at any given point of time.”
When asked why he was admitted, the rapper answered,
“Honestly I can say I was in the hospital for a broken heart.”
The rapper also spit a 27 minute freestyle for the staff and answered questions on UStream.
