Lauryn Hill Apologizes For Being On L Boogie Time At Pittsburgh Show
If you ever find yourself waiting for Lauryn Hill, don’t hold your breath. L Boogie apologized for being epically late (over three hours) to a show in Pittsburgh on Tuesday (Jan. 31), and explained why.
Hill took to Facebook to cop pleas for her tardiness, which she pinned on band members being delayed in NYC due to snow.
Ms. Hill admitted the show should have been canceled considering the travel issues, but she wanted to make it happen for the fans. She was also sure to mention that the promoter did a lackluster job of letting people know of the change in the show’s start time.
Hill plans to return to Pittsburgh for a make up show in the near future.
The former The Fugees rapper kicks off the Small Axe acoustic performance tour in Washington DC on Feb. 13., hitting smaller venues in New York City, Boston and Philadelphia through March.
No doubt her actual start times will be under scrutiny. Peep her Facebook explanation below.
