Just in time for Valentine’s Day, retired NBA great Scottie Pippen and his wife, Larsa, were embroiled in a bitter divorce that the ex-player filed. However, it looks like love is back in the air and the couple will be aiming their efforts in rekindling the spark in their marriage.
TMZ exclusively reports:
Sources close to Scottie and Larsa tell us the couple aren’t calling it quits quite yet, and are currently focused on getting back to a good place in their marriage.
We’re told they’ve maintained contact ever since Scottie filed for divorce — but just to handle business with their kids … nothing more. Since then, they’ve gotten a lot friendlier.
The bottom line … there’s still work to be done to fully mend the relationship … but both Larsa and Scottie would rather stay together, considering their long history.
TMZ adds that upcoming court dates for the couple were not attended and recent photos of them together show them looking as nothing has changed over the years.
With twenty years into their marriage, it’d be a shame for the parents of four to call it splits. There were rumors Pippen filed for divorce because of ATL rapper Future but that has never been confirmed.
We’re guessing February 14 is going to be a big day for the Pippens if this all holds true.
