New York Giant’s star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. can’t even catch a break these days. After getting much slander for taking a trip to Miami just before the playoffs started (and ultimately stinking it up during that playoff loss) Page Six is now reporting that OBJ got robbed during his visit to Houston, TX for Super Bowl weekend.
Word on the street is that the emotional wide out ran the money and his jewels while he was enjoying the weekend festivities in H-Town.
Another source close to the football team disputes that story and says that while Odell was indeed robbed it wasn’t a jux. Reportedly, Beckham (who was staying at a hotel in Houston) simply left a bag of his belongings at a friend’s house when it was broken into and robbed.
Is this another case of Instagram shining coming back to haunt celebrities or is OBJ really a victim of wrong place wrong time to leave your stuff behind?
Either way, this the same man who lost a $25,000 pinky ring while making it rain in the strip club, so he’ll be okay.
