Now that Barack Obama is officially done with his job as President of the United States. Historians are ranking him among the 43 before him.

C-SPAN gathered a group of historians to rank all of the Presidents. Barack Obama landed just outside of the top 10 which was occupied by Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Theodore Roosevelt, Dwight Eisenhower, Harry S. Truman, Thomas Jefferson, John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan and Lyndon Baines Johnson with Woodrow Wilson coming in at 11th.

The Presidents were judged on merits including public persuasion, crisis leadership, economic management and moral authority. Obama received his highest marks for pursuing equal justice for all and scored lowest for relations with Congress, which was majority Republican and petty for most of his tenure.

In case you’re wondering, Andrew Jackson, the president that many have already compared President Donald Trump to because of his campaign strategy ranked 18th with his highest marks coming for public persuasion. James Buchanan, the President who took office right before the Civil War ranked as the worst President ever.

One consultant on the ranking panel felt that Obama should have been ranked higher. Howard University historian Edna Greene Medford tells TIME magazine, “Historians prefer to view the past from a distance, and only time will reveal his legacy.”
