After years of fighting through industry red tape, CyHi the Prynce is finally ready for his close-up as he readies to drop his debut album.

With his debut album No Dope On Sundays on the horizon, CyHi the Prynce is giving listeners a taste of what to expect. The first official single “Nu Africa” has CyHi continuing his tradition of coming up with concepts that you may have to listen to twice to fully comprehend. Here, the Atlanta-raised rapper juxtaposes some of Hip-Hop’s most known tenets with various “what ifs?” Throughout the song he challenges Black folks to stop complaining about their status in America and create a new reality in Africa.

Anyone that has been paying attention knows that CyHi has been dope for years. There’s a reason why Kanye West recruited him to write and have input on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Yeezus and Watch The Throne.

Now, after dropping several mixtape and killing every cypher he’s been in, he’s dropping a proper studio album to prove why he should be on your favorite rappers list.
