Everlast, the front man for 90’s Hip-Hop group House of Pain, will ever be connected to the group’s signature hit “Jump Around” from 1992. The enduring bar crowd and sports arena-favored track will be performed this Thursday by Everlast to celebrate its 25th year in existence.

Page Six reports:

The classic video for the hit was filmed at New York’s St. Patrick’s Day parade, and Everlast will perform Thursday, the night before St. Paddy’s Day, at Irving Plaza.

For the holiday itself, we hear he’ll head to Sweet Chick — the Nas-backed Brooklyn chicken-and-waffles joint — to make the eatery’s signature dish (with Guinness, of course) with the owner, John Seymour. We hear Everlast will wear the same Celtics jersey he donned in the music video.

Fans of House of Pain should remember that Celtic Pride was on full display for the video back in the day, but what folks really need to get familiar with is the superior, in our opinion, Pete Rock remix of the track. Both songs can be heard in below.
