Dave Chappelle sat down with Gayle King of CBS Morning News less than 24 hours away from dropping his first comedy special in 13 years.
In the interview, Chappelle again spoke on his decision to walk away from his highly successful Comedy Central show and leaving tens of millions of dollars on the table. He likened it to breaking up with a crazy b*tch.
“Chappelle’s Show‘s like breakin’ up with a girl and you still like her,” he said. “But in your mind you’re like, ‘That b*tch is crazy. I’m not goin’ back.'”
He also spoke on something that people have been saying for years, that the Key & Peele show stole a lot of his swag.
