Ann Coulter and Jimmie Walker‘s alleged romance was all the chatter this week but it appears that the wedding registry invites are going to have to be out on hold. The political commentator shot down the rapidly-developing rumors that she and the former  Good Times actor are a romantic item.

Page Six reports:

The tall, blond, conservative gadfly told me, “This rumor spreads every now and then, but it’s never been true.”

The rumor recently resurfaced when “Black-ish” creator Kenya Barris sat down for Entertainment Weekly with Norman Lear, 94, who produced “Good Times,” “All in the Family” and “The Jeffersons.”

Lear said Walker — known for his catchphrase “Dy-no-mite!” — dates Coulter, and Lear described a dinner he had with the couple. Barris said, “I’m not sure Ann Coulter eats solid food. I definitely don’t think she’s dating Jimmie Walker.”

After shooting down the idea of any romance, Coulter told me, “We’re great friends. He’s hilarious and a Republican. Now, that’s news!”

Walker hasn’t made any public comments about the rumor, but Coulter once said in the past that the actor may have spread those rumors himself according to an interview with HuffPost Live.
