Gilbert Arenas Slanders Dark Skin Women, Says Lupita Nyong’o “Ain’t Cute”

Gilbert Arenas found himself back in the news but, per usual, it has nothing to do with basketball. The former All-Star guard went on a tear where he criticized dark skin women and even threw actress Lupita Nyong’o under the bus by saying she “ain’t cute” to him.

Arenas responded to an Instagram post from Rashidi Kweli, who posts under the ProBlkThought username on the social media network. Kweli posted an image that read “Dear Black Girl, You Don’t Have To Be Mixed To Be Beautifull” which prompted Arenas to respond with his ham-handed tirade against dark skin women.

Arenas’ response is as follows:

How black are we talking??? Not to be funny can u name a beautiful black women on the outside … not brown skin … like tyrese black … top 50 most beautiful women off [sic] all time … the darkest women they have is (Keshia Knight Pulliam aka Rudy) (gab)) union) (taral hicks) (Serena Williams),” he wrote before adding, “When u say African features black then u have (#1 lupita nyong’o) and she’s cute when the lights are off second is (Ajuma nasenyana) sorry but ewww so the black beautiful women u try to boost up is technically light skinned or brown skinned.

After the heat got to be too much, Arenas walked back his statement about dark skin women but doubled down on saying Nyong’o wasn’t attractive to him in a now-deleted post.

“I ended up pulling a COON moment…sorry all shades of black women no need to forgive me Im pretty sure I’ll say some f*cked up sh*t probably in two weeks  (I know p*ssy prices about to double up on my ass from black women) and as for lupita she ain’t cute to me sorry…just like I’m not cute to 95% of u,” Arenas said.

On Kweli’s page, several posts featuring photos of the very dark skin women Arenas said weren’t beautiful, including Nyong’o. And not for nothing, Agent Zero needs to get his whole eyeballs checked for those erroneous statements.

Your African features are all you need for attractiveness. @no.chill.gil as an example to my point on my earlier post, this is just a small example of the beauty of dark skin women. Feel free to explore pages like @darkskinwomen @darkskin.blackgirls. As you are a father of black girls, in no way shape or form should you ever question the beauty of our women, light or dark; especially dark #DarkSkinBeauty #BlackWomen #BlackGirlsRock #DarkSkinBlackWomen #DarkSkinGirls

Only attractive when the lights are out?!?!! You must be out of your mind! @lupitanyongo is the personification of the beauty of God. How anyone looks upon her and not know that she is gorgeousness refined is insane to me! "Dipped in chocolate, bronzed in elegance, enameled with grace, toasted with beauty.
