Cleveland Police are on a manhunt for Steve Stephens, who they believe killed a 74-year old man and posted the video to Facebook.

Police say the 37-year old Stephens shot 74-year-old Robert Godwin Sr. Sunday afternoon around 2 p.m. The believe Godwin was randomly targeted as he walking home from Easter dinner with his family. In a video posted on Facebook, Stephens can be seen approaching Goodwin and asking him to say a woman’s name. At that point, he says “She’s the reason that this is about to happen to you,” and shoots Goodwin in the head.

In other parts of the video, Stephens says he has “snapped” and accused his family of blowing him off whenever he’d try to talk to them. Stephens also says that he has lost everything to gambling and also blamed an ex-girlfriend for his woes. He also says that he has killed other people. In separate posts on his now deactivated Facebook account, he says he’s killed 15 other people and called it an “Easter Day Slaughter.” Police do not know of any other victims.

In an interview with CNN, Stephens’ mother Maggie Green says she last saw her son on Sunday and that he told her, “If you see me again, it’ll be a miracle.”

Police describe Stephens as African-American, six-foot-one and 244 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark-blue-and-gray or -black striped polo shirt, and driving a white Ford Fusion with temporary license plates.

Cleveland Police have urged Stephens to turn himself in. He is considered armed and dangerous.
