For all the hate he gets thrown at him, you have to respect how Lil Yachty always finds a way to respond, quickly.

The latest person in the crowd to throw a tomato at the red-haired rapper is MC-turned-music commentator Joe Budden. In an episode of his Everyday Struggle show with DJ Akademiks, Budden called Yachty a troll and furthered the argument that the teenage entertainer is “f*cking up Hip-Hop.”

“I don’t think that Yachty is hip-hop,” Budden said. “I don’t think that Yachty’s label is hip-hop. When you’re not hip-hop and you’re trying to just troll or exploit, you get things like this album cover.”

Budden also went on to infer that Yachty was gay or was at least “a little fruity” for having two males kissing on the album cover for his debut album Teenaged Emotions. He also compared his wave to when Lil B released a project simply titled “I’m Gay.”

Yachty responded by posting a diss track that Lil B recorded six years ago when Budden went at him in a similar fashion.

Here was Joe’s response. He too, is still shocked by how hard the Lil B diss track actually was back then.
