Lil Cease felt the social media knives coming for his throat after he left a comment on Funkmaster Flex’s video rant about Tupac allegedly shooting himself.

Funkmaster Flex ruined a couple of people’s day when they woke up to video of him saying that Tupac shot himself by mistake in the infamous 1994 Quad Studios attack.

“You ‘Pac fans always talking that talk,” Flex said. “Cheddar Bob. Came in there, popped himself in the leg. Popped himself first. That’s what happened. He knew who approached him. He had a steel on him, ’cause he knew he had an issue out there, and when get got there, they was just gonna take his jewelry. They didn’t even touch him. He panicked, pulled out the steel, shot himself.”

Flex went on to say that ‘Pac was afraid of the actual culprits and instead chose to blame The Notorious B.I.G. and Sean “Puffy/Diddy” Combs, which started the deadly rivalry that followed. One of the many people watching the video was Biggie associate Lil Cease, who left a comment on the video.

It appears that Cease was simply offering his perspective since he was there when it happened. But Funk Flex screenshotted his comment and posted it to bolster his argument. Since the internet is undefeated at misinterpretation, people took it as Cease being on Flex’s side. It didn’t take long for Cease to catch the wrath of angry commenters on all social platforms. Which forced him to clarify what he was saying and what he meant.
