Nicki Minaj flaunted her riches in a good way this weekend by personally paying off student loans and tuition for a group of her biggest fans.
Originally, Minaj started a contest where she challenged her fans to record themselves singing her new single “Regret In Your Tears” on Musical.ly. The grand prize for participants was Minaj flying them out to meet her at the studio or at the Billboard Music Awards.
Well, one fan was bold enough to call checkmate on her unhumbled stunt by asking if she wanted to use that money to pay their tuition instead.

Minaj responded by asking them to send her a report card with straight A’s and she would. From there, an entirely different challenge was set up.
From there, people started posting their grades and how much debt they were in for the entire internet to see. One by one, Nicki replied by asking them to DM their bank information so they could get paid.
Nicki ended the Twitter-thon at around 1 a.m. Sunday morning.
Nicki’s generosity gets back some of the cool points she lost after she recorded herself making fun of a mentally ill woman in Miami back in December.
