Lonzo Ball is already entering the rapper-athlete genre before his first game as a professional

A track has surfaced of him rapping over the instrumental of Drake‘s “Free Smoke” under the name ZO2.

Lonzo spits plenty of “hoop lingo” over the beat. At age 19, Lonzo was raised in an era where Hip-Hop and sports, especially basketball, are connected in many ways. Judging from his performance on the track, Hip-Hop is definitely in his DNA.

Lonzo is actually in the pocket like he’s been doing this for a while. Especially towards the end of his verse when he raps, “In a couple months I’ll be in a mansion with my car clean and my diamonds dancing.”

He’s joined on the track by DC The Don. Lonzo raps first. Check it out below.
