A Florida teen has been suspended from school and arrested after making online threats of shooting up his school unless Lil Uzi Vert dropped his new album, now.

ABC Action News in Florida is reporting that a student at Ridgewood High School in Pasco County got on Facebook and made the threats. His post addressed to Uzi read, “drop luv is rage 2 before i shoot up my school.”

Initially, the bold statement was viewed as a joke, getting plenty of laughing emojis in response. Police were eventually alerted to the threat, tracked the kid’s house down and promptly arrested him. In their search of the home, they found two guns inside of a lock box. They found the weapons only because they pried the box open after not being to find the key.

The unnamed teen was booked on making false reports of hoax/threats to do violence with a firearm to a school. Luckily none of his classmates or friends are dead. Lil Uzi Vert‘s Luv Is Rage 2 has no release date.

Uzi’s image as a self-proclaimed rock star continues to grow. Last week he jumped from a stage 20 feet high into a sea of fans at the Rolling Loud Festival. Earlier this week Waka Flocka came out and said Uzi was not Hip-Hop. Waka might be slightly onto something there. Having fans that threaten to shoot up schools if they don’t get a new album is definitely not Hip-Hop.
