Perhaps one of the earliest pieces of Michael Jordan memorabilia has hit the auction block and it’s expected to fetch some big bucks.

Before he entered the NBA and took it by storm, MJ spent that summer playing for the U.S. Men’s Basketball team in the 1984 Olympics. It was the last amateur team to win a gold medal before the USA decided to start sending professional players to dominate the rest of the world. This part of MJ’s storied history isn’t talked about much, but a rare artifact from it is now available for purchase to the highest bidder.

Grey Flannel Auctions has the #9 jersey on their site with an opening bid of $10,000. “We believe this to be the only red color-way uniform that Jordan wore for this historic gold medal run,” it says on their official website.

To give you an idea of how much people are dropping on MJ memorabilia, his “flu game” sneakers went for $104,000 back in 2013.

If you are in the market for this, or know of any Japanese billionaires who can afford $100 million Basquiat paintings, click here. The bidding starts on June 2. That’s a Friday, your payday.
