Lil Durk is entitled to his own opinion. That doesn’t mean it is a good one though.

Lil Durk is 24 years old, meaning he was born just one year after Tupac Shakur released his first solo album in 1991. It also means that he was 19 when Future dropped his first Dirty Sprite project and has become a grown man during the Atlanta rapper’s run.

This timeline is the only shred of logic we can find as to Durk could possibly think that Fewtch is the new ‘Pac. He was simply too young to know the true impact ‘Pac had on the world. Nevertheless, he said that Future is the “modern day Tupac,” out loud, on Twitter.

Immediately, Twitter sank their fangs in him.

Some even tried to put more believable words in his mouth.

Durk should already know by now the risk that comes with comparing anybody to Tupac. Joey Badass and Troy Ave both caught hell earlier this year for daring to compare themselves in any way to slain rapper.
