Rich Homie Quan‘s arrest this past weekend just took a very serious turn for the worst.

Rich Homie was arrested this past Saturday on the way to a gig in Wadely, Ga. The car he was in was stopped at a police checkpoint and the cops found weed and a stolen gun. He was arrested for possession but wasn’t officially charged, until now.

TMZ is reporting that RHQ will not be charged for felony gun possession, but will be charged with felony possession of drugs with intent to distribute for marijuana. Georgia state laws are very wide-ranging when it comes to the amount needed to be charged with felony possession. Quan could face up to 30 years behind bars if convicted. Quan, who has been sitting in jail since Saturday, is up for a bond hearing this Friday.

This isn’t the first time a rapper from Atlanta has been jailed for having guns and drugs in a small Georgia town. In 2016, Young Dro was arrested and jailed for having drugs and guns on the campus of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga. The year before that, Migos were busted for the same exact thing.

Here’s some advice for rappers getting gigs in small towns, the police know you’re coming and expect to catch you with something. Ride slow, ride smart, homie.
