Rick Ross has released a video for his personal letter to Birdman, “Idols Become Rivals.”
Rozay teased us about the video earlier this week and now it’s here. When the song first appeared on Ross’ recent album Rather You Than Me, many unfairly labeled it as a Birdman diss record when really, it’s simply expressing his disappointment with a man and label boss he once looked up to.
Throughout the years Birdman had been accused of practicing in shady business dealings and sued in the process. While some wanted to believe they were all misunderstandings, people were finally convinced when his biggest star and most loyal soldier Lil Wayne filed a lawsuit against him.
While Wayne has been more than vocal about his current standing with Birdman and Cash Money, Ross beat him to the punch as far as putting something on wax. With the release of this video, Ross has also beat Wayne to the punch for putting out visuals as well.
