If you assumed that 2 Chainz was too rich or too famous to spit freestyles, we’re glad to inform you that you are wrong.
With a new album on the way, 2 Chainz has been zipping all across the country hopping in front of every microphone and camera he can find. However, the trapper-turned-rapper just reminded us that he is very Hip-Hop and still #fortheculture. During his most recent visit with the LA Leakers, 2 Chainz hopped on Kendrick Lamar and Mike Will’s “DNA” beat a proved that rapping is definitely in his. Sure, it looks and sounds like Chainz was prepared with some pre-written material for the affair, but you still have to respect that he showed up and showed out for this.
As far as the bars themselves, it contains the unique and outrageous wordplay that he is known for. Our personal favorite is when he says “got a lot of priors, but I’m trying to get richer.”
Pretty clever Mr. Chainz. Pretty Girls Like Trap Music comes out this Friday, June 16.
