While more details emerge regarding the tragic shooting at Power Ultra Lounge in Little Rock Arkansas, rapper Finese 2Tymes has been arrested on unrelated charges.

On Saturday, July 1 gunfire erupted at the nightclub leaving 28 people injured; some critically. The New York Times reports that the melee ensued around 2:30 AM when 30 plus shots rang out causing patrons to run for cover. Little Rock police have yet to confirm what sparked the shooting only guessing that it might be gang related.

Memphis rapper Finese 2Tymes, the scheduled headliner for the show, has since been arrested on aggravated assault charges out of Forrest City Arkansas according to the Little Rock Police Twitter feed.

According to Alabama’s AL.com, two handguns and a AK47 were also found in 2Tymes’ vehicle during the arrest which took place at a nightclub in Alabama prior to his performance. He is currently awaiting extradition to Arkansas and is now considered a “person of interest” in the Power Ultra Lounge case.
