Colin Kaepernick Did Not Turn Down An NFL Contract

The Colin Kaepernick saga continues to unfold. Contrary to a recent report, the woke QB did not turn down an NFL contract.

According The Daily Caller, Kaep “turned down at least one contract in the hopes of stirring up a media frenzy that eventually leads to a more lucrative deal for the 29-year-old vet.” The sports news outlet cited an unnamed NFL insider who went to attribute the former San Francisco 49er’s starter’s problem to his ego saying “Colin thinks he’s fighting a much higher battle than he is. He views himself as a race messiah.”

Kaepernick’s team has vehemently denied those allegation calling the report “a boldface lie” to TMZ. Colin NEVER had any talks about any contract or any money” said a source close to camp. Since taking a stance against police brutality via a respectful kneel down during the singing of the national anthem, Colin has faced severe backlash from the media, cops, military and fellow players.

Since being let go by 49er’s he has had a tough time securing a contract, which has led to speculation that his pro-Black stance has hindered his employment chances. It has been rumored that both the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens have expressed interested in the seven year veteran, but neither team has yet to make an official offer. Considering all the jabroni quarterbacks that still have a job in the NFL the jig seems to be very clear.

Props to Colin for standing tall against all the scrutiny—let’s hope he lands at an organization where his talents will be appreciated.
