Grandmaster Flash & The Furious 5 rapper Kidd Creole has been indicted in for the fatal stabbing of a homeless man in Midtown, Manhattan. Born Nathaniel Glover, he was arrested on August 2.

The rapper accused of stabbing a homeless man to death in Midtown last week after thinking the victim made a pass at him has been indicted on murder charges, prosecutors said.

On Tuesday, a grand jury moved to indict Nathaniel Glover — who performed under the name Kidd Creole for the iconic hip-hop group Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five — according to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.

His exact charges won’t be revealed until the indictment is filed at Glover’s Supreme Court arraignment on Aug. 23, prosecutors said.

Reportedly, the former rapper told police he was afraid of Jolly.

Kidd Creole is currently being held at Rikers Island.
