Clay Aiken is finally woke. The former American Idol and The Apprentice contestant took to Twitter to admit that defending Donald Trump as a non-racist was an epic fail.
“Remember all those times I defended @realDonaldTrump and believed he was not actually racist? Well… I am a f*****g dumbass. #imsorry,” tweeted Aiken on Tuesday (Aug. 15).
The mea culpa came shortly after Donald Trump had his headass presser where he insisted “both sides” were at fault for the violence in Charlottesville.
Aiken also was adamant that he wasn’t a Trump supporter, but in the past he did insist that Cheeto wasn’t actually racist.

Did he not get the memo that Trump was sued by the feds for not renting apartments to Black people twice and that he still thinks the Central Park 5 are guilty despite DNA evidence exonerating them? There’s also the whole Barack Obama was born in Africa f*ckery.
