Janet Jackson‘s State Of The World Tour kicks off in two days, but there were doubts the legendary entertainer would make her Texas stops due to the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. Jackson confirmed via a Twitter video that she is indeed visiting the state and has a surprise in store for victims of the storm too.

PageSix reports:

“We’re going to roll in early because we wanted to visit some of the shelters,” Jackson shared Wednesday on Twitter. “And not just visit some of the shelters, we also want to do something special for the victims. So, we’ll see you Friday!”

Jackson’s State of the World Tour kicks off Thursday night in Louisiana and heads to Houston on Sept. 9 and then to Austin on Sept. 10.

It’s unclear which shelters Jackson, 51, plans to visit.

Well, how dope is that? Janet Jackson’s State Of The World Tour is slated to go all the way until December 17 across the United States. Global dates have not yet been announced.
