John Mayer, who still should be on the canceled list for his 2010 Playboy interview, stuck his neck out on Twitter in flirting with Nicki Minaj. Surprisingly, the singer and guitarist got his wish when the Queens rapper responded with her own flirty tweets.
Friday night (Sept. 8), Mayer fired off a tweet that read, “I spend an inordinate amount of time per day wondering if Nicki Minaj would like me or not.”
Minaj caught wind of the tweet, firing back with, “Would my body be your wonderland?” which references Mayer’s 2002 track “Your Body Is A Wonderland.”
While Mayer has been linked with beautiful women in the past, his reaction to Minaj responding to him was gleeful as one could as expect.
“Please hold, losing my sh*t. This isn’t my reply yet,” Mayer replied. No word yet if this will culminate into a new romance, but the tweets are watching. And by watching, some aren’t letting Mayer’s comments go when he referred to his junk as a white supremacist.
