It seems no matter how much positive energy Swizz Beatz puts out in the universe, there is always legal drama following him. The hit maker has just been sued for $15M for his alleged participation in a car leasing scam.

According to a recent New York Post article, Swizzy was served with a lawsuit on Friday, September 8 at the Nassau Supreme Court. The suit claims he “fraudulently” resold high ticket automobiles including a $155K Range Rover and a $600K Ferrari F12 while still under a separate lease agreement.

This is not the first time Beatz has been accused of wheeling and dealing vehicles under false pretense. In 2016 he was sued by Metro Gem Leasing which accused him of acting like a front man for his associate Macky Dancy who is a car dealer in Great Neck, Long Island. The suit was eventually dismissed.

The Ruff Ryder producer’s lawyer calls the new filing “nothing more than a desperate attempt to shake down a public figure.” Swizz has yet to formally comment on the accusations but took to Instagram and posted a video of him touring the McClaren offices. “People can plot and plan but God is the best of planners 🙏🏽 Factory Life we don’t play small games 🙏🏽💨 #blessings #mclaren #VirgoSeason 💨”
