North Korea leader Kim Jong Un offered a response to President Donald Trump’s recent jabs, pulling out an archaic word to flame the U.S. president. Calling Trump a “dotard,” Kim also vowed to “tame” the former business mogul in a growing war of words.

In the immortal words of Loaded Lux, it was “all first verse” for Kim, who rained down several insults on Trump’s head, including calling him a “frightened dog” and other choice darts. Trump has been jabbing at North Korea and its nuclear weapons policy for months, dubbing Kim “Rocket Man” in recent days.

More from NBC News:

In his bellicose statement Thursday, Kim also repeatedly referred to Trump as a “dotard” — an arcane term for a senile or weak-minded elderly person.

“I will surely and definitely tame the mentally deranged U.S. dotard with fire,” Kim said.

Trump announced on Thursday that he planned to sign an executive order that would slap sanctions on individuals, companies and financial institutions that do business with what Trump characterized as “this criminal rogue regime.”

He said his mission was North Korea’s “complete denuclearization.”

Trump took to Twitter this morning to fire back at Kim, calling the leader a “madman” while threat his own brand of violence.

We’re sure these two will have plenty more to say in the days to come.
