Post Malone Sets Apple Music Stream Record With “Rockstar”

While everyone’s been celebrating Cardi B’s meteoric rise to Hip-Hop stardom and record setting achievements, Post Malone’s been quietly making his own mark on history.

Shia LaBeouf’s rap doppelganger just broke Apple Music’s record for the most streamed song in a single week by having his 21 Savage featured “Rockstar” played 25 million times.

Word? Only in Trump’s Amerikkka (we kid we kid).

This shouldn’t come as a real surprise as his debut album Stoney was streamed over a billion times since dropping last year. We’re actually kind of surprised only a fraction of those fans came back to hear his latest offering.

Maybe his fan base really thought he was really going the Kid Rock route and dropped a Country record so they tuned out.

Either way he should be able to cop some more Popeye biscuits with this week’s royalties.

Check out the cut below and let us know if it’s 25 million streams worthy.
