Old and young heads alike were stoked over news that video game company Nintendo would be dropping the Super Nintendo Classic console earlier this year. Now that the console is available for sale, fans are lining up outside retail store doors to cop one of the coveted systems and Twitter’s reaction is priceless as expected.
Nintendo already struck it big with classic console reissues after putting out the hot-selling NES Classic in November 2016. The hard to find console apparently had the company thinking of other ways to cash in on the retro gaming phase, thus we’ve arrived at the reveal of the Super Nintendo Classic.
For 79.99, the bundle comes pre-loaded with 21 games and two controllers along with never seen before titles like Star Fox 2. But while the original system was 8-bit, the new edition is 16-bit thus expanding the size and scope of some games.
