Total Request Live, better known as TRL, last aired in November 2008, ending a strong 10-year run for the popular MTV’s series. The show made its return on Monday (Oct. 2), with DJ Khaled and Migos helping to kick off its premiere.

The video countdown show had all of Times Square lit with hosts DC Young Fly and Tamara Dhia holding down the hosting duties. According to the Wikipedia page, the pair will be two of five rotating hosts and social media correspondents, doing it a little differently since the days Carson Daly held down the set.

Of course, DJ Khaled was there in all his positive-speak glory and got blessed with a chain by the crew. Even his toddler son, Asahd, got in on the act in bringing in the show. Migos were also in the place, rocking the crowd with their single “Too Hotty” and Ed Sheeran came through and crushed the building with a pair of performances.

Check out DJ Khaled’s segment in the clip below. Hit the flip to see Migos and Ed Sheeran get busy as well.

TRL airs weekdays at 3:30 PM ET.
