Lin-Manuel Miranda and several music artists have joined together to release a new single “Almost Like Praying” in support of benefit relief efforts in Puerto Rico. Proceeds from the single will benefit the Hispanic Federation UNIDOS Disaster Relief Fund to aid those impacted by recent storms in the island region.
Miranda, best known as the star of hit play Hamilton, enlisted Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, GIna Rodriguez, Gloria Estefan and others for the stirring track. Recorded under a week, the track was revealed today via YouTube and Google Play Music. Along with the proceeds of streams and Google Play sales going to the relief fund, YouTube will also contribute monies to the organization.
