You can throw the thought of Azelia Banks and RZA working together again out the window. The “212” singer now hopes he drops dead.

In 2016 Banks joined the Wu-Tang Clan front man as his guest to a private party hosted by Russell Crowe. Somehow things went awry which left the Playboy magazine model claiming she was spat on by the Gladiator actor. During a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, the acclaimed beat smith acknowledged that Crowe did sling some saliva her way. Pause.

“He spit at her. I saw that,” he explained. In video of the radio station visit RZA is seen off microphone showing Charlamagne The God that Crowe spat on the ground near Banks, not on her. Banks caught wind of the exchange and took to Snapchat to vent;

In video of the radio station visit RZA is seen off microphone showing Charlamagne The God that Crowe spat on the ground near Banks, not on her. Banks caught wind of the exchange and took to Snapchat to vent—naturally her response was laden with expletives.

“RZA has to stop talking about me in the media. Until he is ready to apologize publicly he can go back to sucking Russell Crowes d*** for invites to Hollywood parties,” she wrote. “Nobody understands how badly I wanted to die the moment RZA LIED and told the world I deserved to be spat. People laugh at me and said I lied. No one understands the amount of pain that came with and after that incident. Just f***ing respect me and stop saying me [sic] name. @RZA I HOPE YOU DROP DEAD.”

Yikes. To Banks’ defense RZA originally denied the spitting ever occurred and condemned her actions at the party saying “I have a wife, daughters, sisters and females on my staff so I protect women every day. I pray none of them ever behave the way I witnessed Azealia Banks behaved that night.”

Interestingly enough later on in the radio interview The Abbott went on to give her high praise for her acting work in the upcoming movie Love Beats Rhymes he directed.

RZA has yet to formally respond to Banks. You can see the Breakfast Club interview in full here.
