Courtesy of an Instagram post from No Vacancy Inn’s co-founder Tremaine Emory, the new shoe features an all tonal grey color profile throughout a mix of cow leather, suede and mesh materials. Contrary to earlier speculation this model is cushioned by Adiprene technology and not BOOST.
According to the Yeezy Mafia source feed, this release is called the YEEZY Desert Rat 500’s and should be available sometime Spring 2018.

This adds yet another high profile addition to the emerging bulky running shoe craze being led by luxury fashion houses such as Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton. No word on pricing as of yet but expect to pay a nice ticket for what seems to be a mash-up of the adidas Kobe 8’s and Reebok’s Answer 1’s (toe box).
