On the heels of his latest adidas EQT sneaker announcement, Pusha T brings us closer to his roots with a new short film.
Originally rumored to be called the “Brown Paper Bag”, the “Bodega Babies” Ultra PKs pays homage to neighborhood corner store. King Push and adidas have filmed a visual to coincide with the shoe’s release.
In the almost three minute clip, New York City residents praise the inner city elements while the G.O.O.D. Music President spits bars over a slow brooding beat. “Bodega Babies, you wonder why these kids from the 90’s crazy?”
A mix of silky durags, pitbulls, luxury sedans, dice games and a more than memorable cameo from celebrity stylist Emily B. bring the visual to life. You can view the brief clip below.
The adidas Originals EQT Support Ultra PK King Push “Bodega Baby” releases worldwide on November 3.
