The worlds most powerful system, Microsoft’s Xbox One X is here and to celebrate its launch big stars and celebrity gamers hit up Microsoft’s NYC 5th avenue flagship store on Monday night (Nov. 6).
The long-awaited console was available at the stroke of midnight for gamers who made their way to the store in hopes to get their hands on the system.
Some lucky fans were blessed with not only an Xbox One X but an opportunity to challenge each celebrity to a game on the system.
Celebrities on hand were New York Giants star receiver and honorary OVO member Odell Beckham Jr., avid gamer and late-night television host Conan O’Brien, Stranger Things star, Caleb McLaughlin, retired NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal, missing in action UFC star Ronda Rousey, singer Liam Payne and NY Jets running Matt Forte.
During the night Liam Payne and Caleb McLaughlin joined other gamers on Xbox Live Sessions, Microsoft’s interacting gaming channel on their recently acquired Mixer Xbox Channel where they played Minecraft and Forza Motorsport 7.
After the event at the Microsoft Store, the group linked up with other celebrities guests Leslie Jones, Kenan Thompson, Method Man, Vanessa Bayer, Mikey Day, Beck Bennett, Geoffrey Arrend, Jerry Ferrara and many more at an exclusive Xbox One X launch event party.
Looked like an amazing night indeed, the Xbox One X is already receiving rave reviews from critics as far as delivering in the 4K gaming department.
