Ric Flair might be the biggest personality ever to emerge from the world of professional wrestling and has the cultural cache to prove it. The 16-time world champion “Nature Boy” sat down with ESPN’s 30 For 30 for the documentary that was years in the making and revealed details of his lavish life, including dropping a bombshell that he’s slept with over 10,000 women.
Flair, 68, cheated death recently much in the way he’s bested some of the top wrestlers in his sport. In the 30 For 30 documentary, Flair shares that his drinking and womanizing took a toll on his life yet he seems to be aware of the impact he’s had on the pro wrestling landscape. In one segment, Flair says that when traveling with the WWE across small times, he would try to find someone to spend the night with.
“Let me tell you something, if you’re wrestling and you’re in Hutchinson, Kansas, and you’re gonna spend the night there, I’m gonna find something to do. I’m not going through that night by myself, Flair said. This could all be tall tales as Flair once said he slept with Halle Berry, which the Oscar-winning actress fully denied.
