You’ll have a tough time naming someone who’s year was more lit than Cardi B. The Bronx native is on the cover of New York magazine’s newest issue.

Adorned in an all pink Fendi peacoat everyone’s favorite regular, degular, shmegular girl continues to make money moves. Titled “Cardi B. Was Made To Be This Famous”, the iconic publication shadows her the night of her Jimmy Jimmel Live! performance back in September and as she navigates throughout her daily duties as Rap’s newest star.

Aside from chronicles of her stripper come up, the lengthy feature captures the former Love & Hip Hop upstart in her rawest element. She details meeting Jennifer Lopez “I just kept acting like a f*cking weirdo, but I think she understands. Man, I met Beyoncé, too. Who else I gonna meet? Jesus?” The lack of filter is also used when discussing if can outdo herself in 2018. “Sometimes I get a little discouraged, and I wonder how it is going to be next year, but it seems like everybody already predicting where I’m gonna be next year, and it’s just like f*cking farther than my *ssh*le” she explains.

Bardi also shows vulnerability throughout the multi-page spread. She explains how “Bodak Yellow” gives her confidence when she is in doubt “sometimes I don’t feel like I’m the prettiest, sometimes I don’t feel like I’m on top, and when I hear ‘Bodak Yellow’ again, I’m like, ‘Yeah! I’m that b*tch!’” Additionally we clarification on how losing her brand new and very icy Patek Philippe watch at party hosting gig made her feel like she “just got fucked in the heart. Without a condom. Without lubricant. With a yeast infection.” Nice.
