It seems Donald Trump’s Twitter will forever be in a sunken place. He came at LaVar Ball for downplaying his role in securing the release of the incarcerated UCLA players.

When asked about the reports that the POTUS got his son LiAngelo Ball and two other ballers pardoned for shoplifting in China, the boisterous sports dad didn’t want to hear it. “What was he over there for? Don’t tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out” he explained.

Of course, this got back to our Executive Chief and he was none too pleased. “Now that the three basketball players are out of China and saved from years in jail, LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo, is unaccepting of what I did for his son and that shoplifting is no big deal. I should have left them in jail!”

Later on, he went on to call LaVar ungrateful for not giving him his proper kudos and also stressing the potential legal dangers his son faced for the five finger discount attempts. “Shoplifting is a very big deal in China, as it should be (5-10 years in jail), but not to father LaVar. Should have gotten his son out during my next trip to China instead. China told them why they were released. Very ungrateful!”

According to a report by ESPN UCLA Athletic Director Dan Guerrero has confirmed that LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley, and Jalen Hill did steal from three different stores. The merchandise in question was high-end apparel including sunglasses from Louis Vuitton.

LaVar is already putting the incident behind him saying “I’ve seen a lot worse things happen than a guy taking some glasses. My son has built up enough character that one bad decision doesn’t define him.”
