Student Poet Jasmine Mans is making headlines after delivering a poem aimed at Nicki Minaj and challenging her to “come harder” with her raps.

The sociology and African-American studies major at the University of Wisconsin was taped delivering her message at her school’s “2010 Stomp Da Madness.”

The sophomore took to the stage and ripped into the Young Money princess, telling her to be leery of the media or end up like her often compared to rap counterpart; Lauryn Hill.

“Do you ever feel the chord gripping around your neck? Choke, spit, don’t let this industry rape the Assata outta you….Do you know what this media is trying to do to you? Look in the mirror, they will porcelain Barbie doll the Shyte out of you, noose neck hang from Zion, they will Lauryn Hill you. The miseducation of a Barbie Doll coming soon…”

Mans also referenced rappers like Queen Latifah who paved the way for Minaj,

“I win, I win, I win, YOU LOSE. Come a little harder for rap, some of you females have that laid that track U-N-I-T-Y so you wouldn’t have to perform on your back.”
