Vanessa Williams is revealing a little known fact to her fans, that she was offered more than half a million dollars to write a tell-all book, an offer she quickly turned down.
The 47-year-old actress and mother covers the December issue of Ebony magazine and in it says that she was offered $600,000 to share details of her past relationships with her ex-husbands Ramon Hervey II and Rick Fox.
Williams says however that she took the high road and opted not to “throw her ex-husbands under the bus.”
She tells Ebony,
“I don’t want to rehash the past. I want to talk about what makes me, and why I’m a survivor. And [the publishers] didn’t want that. They wanted to know about my ex-husbands. But I’m not going to throw my kids’ dads under the bus.”
