Booking Agent Sued For Scamming $50,000 For Young Jeezy Concert

A Texas man is in headlines after being served court papers for reportedly posing as a booking agent for Young Jeezy and collecting over $50,000.

Carlos Godspeed of “Top Booking Agent” is accused of representing himself as the official booking agent for the rapper and promoting his performance at a Houston venue.

Chris Moreno, Sonny Manila and Roger Manila say however that Jeezy did not perform as scheduled and they were not given back $27,000 of the $50,000 deposit they paid.

The three promoters filed a lawsuit against Godspeed a.k.a. Golden Child on December 13th in Harris County, Texas.

Godspeed was previously mentioned in a lawsuit where he was accused of booking false shows for Drake and Ciara.

Jeezy is continuing to work on his Thug Motivation 103 album. It was scheduled to be released this month but has since been pushed back indefinitely.
